A by-election to the 58th Parliament of the United Kingdom for the constituency area of Wellingborough.

Labour gain from Conservatives by Gen Kitchen with a majority of 6,436 - 21.4% - on a turnout of 38.0%.

An electorate of 79,376, having a valid vote count of 30,145 and an invalid vote count of 145.
