Labour gain from SNP by Melanie Ward with a majority of 7,248 - 17.8% - on a turnout of 56.8%.

An electorate of 71,845, having a valid vote count of 40,814 and an invalid vote count of 106.

This constituency of Cowdenbeath and Kirkcaldy was established by the 2024 boundary set for Scotland. This election was the first held under that boundary set.
