Labour hold by Stephen Doughty with a majority of 11,767 - 30.0% - on a turnout of 53.6%.
An electorate of 73,060, having a valid vote count of 39,176 and an invalid vote count of 221.

The writ for this election was issued on 30 May 2024.

This constituency of Cardiff South and Penarth was established by the 2024 boundary set for Wales. This election was the first held under that boundary set.
