Labour gain from Conservatives by Sam Rushworth with a majority of 6,672 - 16.5% - on a turnout of 57.1%.
An electorate of 70,745, having a valid vote count of 40,427 and an invalid vote count of 133.

This constituency of Bishop Auckland was established by the 2024 boundary set for England. This election was the first held under that boundary set.
